Works Great for a Spare TV
|
I've had this for a year and a half. It is not my main tv, but it's in my bedroom and I have it on every single night to fall asleep to, which means it runs for at least one to two hours a night (it has a sleep timer which is awesome, so I just set that when I get in bed). So I would say it gets regular use. The picture is very clear. I don't use the VCR regularly, but it's worked perfectly when I have used it.
I don't know if the people who gave it low reviews use this as their main tv and therefore have it on 4-6 hours a day. But as a spare tv with daily use, it's worked very well, just like my other full-sized Toshiba. Did I mention yet hat I love the sleep timer? =) The only thing I haven't figured out is if I can also connect a DVD player to it. I think the answer is no. There are no input/output jacks in the back and of the two on the front, one was for headphones and the other didn't fit so I think it was for speakers or a gaming device. |
