Perfect for my needs!

I just bought a Panasonic DMC-FZ5, and this bag was recommended for it. The bag is the perfect size for the camera, with plenty of room for extra cards, the spare battery, the charger, the glare guard for the lens, and even the A/V and USB transfer cables. There's even enough room for a small tabletop tripod to be squeezed into the front zipper pocket.
The main compartment (approximately 9" high x 6" wide by 3 1/2" deep) is vey roomy; I keep the cables in the very bottom, covered with a piece of soft cotton cloth. The camera sits back-side down (LCD rests on the cloth). There's room left for the glare guard (if detached).
The front zipper pocket is about 5" x 6" x 1". On the inside of the flap are two Velcro slide pockets, perfect for extra memory cards and/or batteries. Another slide pocket sits opposite; it's the perfect size for 2 or 3 SmartMedia cards in their carriers.
The top flap has sipper pocket right in front, behind which is the Velcro closure. Inside the top of the flap is another small zipper pocket. The top secures with both a Velcro closure and an adjustable clasp. When closed, the top flap wraps around the front and sides of the back, closing off the interior from the elements.
The included shoulder strap is adjustable to a maximum of 32". There is also belt loop on the back.
Overall, it's the perfect size for my FZ5. In a pinch, I could probably squeeze my Panasonic DMC-LC33 in, along with two extra AA rechargeables and their charger. |
