Good radio, a bit large
|
Because this radio is part of the headset, it's a bit larger than it looked in photos (I bought it online). It's attempt at stylishness only makes it look more nerdy than regular headset, and its lack of foam pads makes it look like cans sticking out of your ears. I assume the lack of foam is part of its weatherproof design. I do not find it uncomfortable as other reviewers have and find no conflict with sunglasses.
Its sound and reception are very good, even at the far ends of the dial, and it has good bass. Tuning and volume controls are easy to adjust. You can turn the volume way up and use them off your head as a speaker radio if you want to keep listening while shaving etc., so it has plenty of power. It is easy to swap out the AAA battery.
The real advantage of this radio headset is that there is no cable to get snagged on things while I do yard and house work. |
