Best Bang for the Buck

| I've owned an iPod Shuffle for about a year, and recently decided to clean house a little and get rid of my CD collection. After burning all of them onto a flash drive and donating them to the local Goodwill (= nice tax break), I had to find a player good enough to hold them. I read a lot of reviews, looked at all the options, and finally settled on the Sony 4GB walkman. Excellent choice. Sound is way better than my Shuffle, and I am impressed with the ease of use and number of features. Like other reviewers, I am saddened by the lack and cost of accessories, but I expect these to come onto the market soon. I would most like to see an adapter for Sony car stereos, as they have for the iPod, to make it easier to navigate using the stereo alone. Come on Sony, grant my wish! Also ended up donating my home CD player and buying a $5 Y-adapter for my home stereo. What a space saver, and this thing has ended up paying for itself! |
