Happy with the system.

Unlike many of the other reviewers, I'm quite happy with the system. Placed the sending unit in my office, connected a cheap tape - AM/FM player to the transmitter base, turned everything on and roamed throughout the house. No problems with position or distance. Sound quality was pretty good. After following the directions to a 'T' (important), all worked very well.
Connected the unit to a better stereo sound system then went outside into the back yard and still got excellent reception.
The only drawback I found was the headphones don't block out background noise too well. In my wood shop the machinery noise was still pretty loud though I could still hear the broadcast music while working.
Overall, I give the unit 4 stars. With better outside noise canceling I would rate it a 5.
