THEY SHOULD HAVE BUILT THIS MODEL LAST

This unit has since been replaced and is now only available on the secondary market. What a shame! This unit had features which have since been dropped. Some of the later units do not have the features I like. That is why I said, "They should have built this model last," I had three units like this when I decided I wanted more. (Currently I have five units, all daisy chained together. All my CD's are in these units.) I was so desperate to get another "400" that I bought two units on the secondary market through Amazon at different times. I am very happy with them. If you want to know about the dropped features, contact me.

ADDENDUM: This model allows you to assign one artist to each CD. This enables you to select the CDs of a particular artist only. For reasons unclear to me, every once in a while the gremlins get loose in the unit and it switches most of the artists to the wrong CDs. Not good. To straighten this out takes a lot of work. Maybe I should only rate the unit 4.5. |
