Better than Sony, trust me I've owned both

| NO MURA! NO CLOUDS! For those of us who have to suffer through clouds (white blotches on dark screens), this television is a joy. I went through two Sonys due to MURA, and it amazes me people will pay an additional $1000 for the luxurt of owning a Sony (that doesn't have better color reproduction in my opinion). The only con is the clicking noise in the back of the TV when you first turn it on, this isn't a defect but just a unit going through some sort of calibrating, but they should have mentioned it in the manual. Excellent blacks, on par with plasma screens, simple menus, good backlight settings, decent remote, excellent colors and amazing picture. Watch the Amazon price fluctuations which can vary $100 in a single day I've noticed. White glove service was excellent, I received the television in 6 days. Oh and matte screen is much better than glossy unless you can put the TV in a media room with NO windows, then the glossy screen will enhance the color saturation a bit more. |
