♥♥♥♥♥ Awesome picture quality
Pros: Awesome picture quality, firmware update options

Cons: Kinda slow loading; requires patience!

Received this as a present Christmas Eve, along with the Blu-Ray 4-disc "Die Hard" collection. Worked well right out of the box playing the original Die Hard, but the latest sequel, Live Free Or Die Hard, was taking FOREVER to load so after 15 minutes I started Googling for answers. After reading several customer reviews I found one that mentioned doing a firmware update right away, right when you hook it up. I did one and still had trouble, so I checked again and an even newer update was available. Then after the second update it loaded & played Live Free Or Die Hard flawlessly. Almost like 3D! Ratatouille on Blu-Ray is fantastic! And even regular DVDs look WAY better. A regular DVD will load fairly quickly but Blu-Rays tend to load rather slow. You get used to it though: the picture quality is worth the wait.

Firmware update options: You can either download firmware updates from Samsung's site to burn to CD or connect directly to internet via ethernet cable. I just ran an extra ethernet cable from my cable router so my player is always connected to the internet -- very convenient.

We really really enjoy this player:)
