Pretty Great

| In short, this a great system for the price. It packs a lot of punch with minimum of speakers and wires, very minimalistic. But the sound is good, especially with DVDs. As for TV (using Toslink) and music CDs or MP3, it doesn't have the weight as when you play DVDs but clear, just lacking a bit of bass (which is tough to control on the fly). So, for movies, it comes close to a theater experience if your room is smaller than ~300 sq. ft. The surround aspect is so-so, but clarity and boominess is like the movies. My friend say it's close if not better than the Bose 321 that he's heard. I've had this for 2 months, and I am very pleased especially for the price and the setup effort. Be aware of the bulky connector in the back of each speaker. About 1.5 inches wide and 5 mm thick and 1 inch deep. |
