This game is looking to be one of the best games in the history of the PS2. Not only is it the first online platformer in the history of the genre, the game looks (see gameplay videos at ign.com) and sounds like an extremely fun single player experince. A brief summary of the story: Ratchet and Clank are living off the good life after saving the bogon galaxy. Clank even get his own TV show called "Secret Agent Clank" where ratchet is cast as the butler. This clash of egos is sure to lead to hillarious cutscenes in the game. However their happy times are cut short when the evil doctor Nefarious invades ratchets home planet of Veldin and the Galactic president calls for the duo to join the Q force, a ragtag group of old characters led by none other then captain qwark, who now need to defeat nefarious and save the galaxy from his plot to kill all organic matter.
This game promices the following fetures:
20 weapons: 14 new can be upgraded four times and 5 old from going commando (the 20th weapon is still unknown) One weapon in this game will be the rift inducer which creates black holes that enemies get sucked into6 modes for multi player and online (brodband only) including capture the base and deathmatch. 20 new planets to explore inlcluding the galactic headquarters in Marcadia and the jungle home of Qwark on Florana Finally (so far) new vehicles for rathcet to use such as the turbo slider As you can see UYA (up your arsenal) is sure to be an amazing and innivative game this holliday season. |
