Good clean sub - but underpowered
|
I got this for free in an Amazon/Polk offer - buy over $500 of Polk / get the sub free. The subwoofer is incredibly clean - but can't quite keep up with the rest of my system (Onkyo HT-SR875 and Polk Monitor series in a 5.1 config). This sub would probably be great in a very small home theater in a small room. Free was a great price - but when I get a chance, this will be moved to the rear of my system and I'll add a 12"/230W Sub as my primary to help shake the house.
Extra points for how clean it is - since it's really easy to muddy up the low frequencies & the sound this creates is very crisp. |
