The Price Just Went Up By $300!!!!!!

| Kind of ridiculous that they raised the price by $300 once Toshiba decided to throw in the towel on the HD-DVD format. I guess it's true what they say about monopolies (although I know that this doesn't fit the technical definition). But it's disturbing, now that the format wars are won, retailers are extorting the public, by raising the price from about about $450 to over $700. I was about to buy one of these, but now it looks like I'll have to wait awhile. |
