V1.3 Issues? Not in my experience

I saw these listed on Amazon and, after making absolutely certain that paying more than few bucks on one of these kinds of cables was not worth it, bought two of them (one for use on my PS3 and one for later when I get my amplifier properly upgraded for HDMI). Only then did I read for my Samsung TV that if the cable is not properly V1.3 certified, I may encounter dropout problems. Knowing that both devices I was hooking up were 1.3, and reading a review on here that stated 1.3 devices weren't working correctly, I wondered if perhaps I had made a hasty decision.
It turns out my worries were unfounded. Not only did the cables arrive in a timely manner, they worked as soon as I plugged them in. A week later and they have never given me a single drop-out issue. So, I would say that if you have V1.3 concerns, don't worry...these cables should work perfectly fine with your equipment. My picture is sharp, clear, and my upscaled DVDs are looking fantastic. In three words, well worth it. |
