the best earbuds i've had so far!

I've had an mp3 player for almost a year and I've been trying in vain to find acceptable earbuds. The buds that came with the device were too big and always fell out. Then I tried the ones that come with the Ipod and they sounded awful,would keep falling out,and after having them for a short time the sound in one bud started crackling and fading. I've also tried a Sony bud-w/earclip combo which were annoying.
I'm not willing to pay alot for headphones right now so I resigned myself to having inferior product. That was until I took a risk and tried these Griffin Earthumps. I wanted to try something that fit in the ear better and would block out some noise too. I didn't have high expectations and boy was I surprised! These are great!!
I read reviews that mentioned overpowering bass and that hasn't been my experience at all! The high and mid tones sound very clear to me. In fact,the bass hangs back which is fine with me. You'd think the sound would be tinny then, but its not(to my ears). I was amazed at the quality of sound for an under-$20 pair of headphones. We'll see how these perform the longer I have them. Also, these are the first noise-blocking headphones I've had so I have nothing to compare them to, but these block noise just fine.
Do these stay put in my ears?.....Yes!!! Hallelujah. I have to use the smallest plugs which are thankfully provided. It's nice to be able to relax and enjoy the music without having to be on guard for when your earplugs are gonna drop out.
I recommend giving these a try!
