Inexpensive Entry Level Product

| I wasn't sure that I needed a portable mp3 player. I just wanted to try out mp3's on the go, without flushing hundreds of bucks down the drain...so I was ecstactic when I found this cheapo little model for a VERY low everyday price at a large discount store. It is true that the volume level is not as high as you will need it to be on a crowded bus, and you cannot rewind or fast-forward through a song, though you can skip forward and backward to from one song to another. It does eat batteries, but not any faster than my sony cd player. But, on the other hand, the sound quality IS amazing. It's Sans MMC cards can be found really cheap on the net, for almost half the average price if you look around enough. So far it has been very reliable, has a durable belt clip, and the mere pleasure of no skips versus the skipping of a cd player while jogging is more than worth what I paid for this player. It's lots of fun for an entry level device into portable mp3 players, and even with an added memory card it only costs less than half what a similar RIO player will set you back, and you get the same great audio quality. |
