what a joke

| I have never even heard of anything this bad. The first one we got froze after 15 minutes of DVD playtime. We brought it back and the store replaced it immediately, without question (maybe we were not the first). The next one we got turns off spontaneously from time to time, which we could live with. We could also live with the bad TV sound, the bad CD sound, and the bad AUX sound through our computer. After all, it's optimized for DVD, and when we play modern, digital DVDs, the sound is almost as good as the demo in the store. If we can find a way to bypass the system for every other kind of sound input, we'll be in business. (but then we'll need speakers). Maybe someone can help: lately when we play our great-sounding DVDs, the picture goes to a grainy blue-ish black and white image. Now it is useless for everything, and we want our thousand dollars back. I hope we get it, but I have a feeling we're going to get a "repair disc" in the mail instead. If you respect yourself, don't buy this system. |
