STUNNING SONY OFFERING!

| This is by far the coolest electronic gadget I have seen in many a year! The SONY NWZ S618 is a multi-media player that can fit in the palm of your hand and is truly a marvel in electronic miniaturization! The build quality is very good and it feels sturdy, but is so lightweight, one might easily forget it if placed in a shirt pocket. The SONY NWZ S618 has a lock switch to prevent accidental activation of features or power when placed in a pocket or stored away. It features a digital clock with day/date display. The controls are uncluttered and the volume control is conveniently located on its side for easy access. It features an internal rechargeable battery that can be charged via your PC's USB port or optional charger unit with its supplied cable. Some may find it interesting to know of my application for this fantastic device. I use it to read God's Holy Bible. Available on mp3 CD is the Holy Bible narrated by Alexander Scourby, who was the first to read aloud the entire Old Testament and New Testament for audio transcription. His stunning narration is available in mp3 format on 6 CDs through Amazon dot com. I loaded the entire narration, all 4 gigabytes, onto my new SONY NWZ S618 and still have 4 gigabytes to spare. AMAZING!!! The SONY NWZ S618 supports folders and subfolders for storing and organizing files. For example, I loaded 66 folders onto the SONY NWZ S618, each containing an individual book of the Bible starting with Genesis and ending with Revelation. To enable the SONY NWZ S618 to display the books of the Bible in their correct sequential order, I placed numbers in front of the folder names. For example, 01 Genesis, 02 Exodus and ending with 66 Revelation. All 66 folders along with 1,187 files representing each chapter of the Bible loaded onto my SONY NWZ S618 without a hitch! Navigating these files and folders is positively effortless via its folder and file menus displayed on its brilliant clear screen! Now, the performance of this little gem will blow you away! Regrettably, the included ear buds do not do the SONY NWZ S618 justice. But, when used with a quality set of headphones, the sound is BREATHTAKING! The SONY NWZ S618 has a full range equalizer that enables customization of audio to suit even the most demanding listeners. I am legally blind, therefore I am not qualified to give an honest critique of the video capabilities of this device. But, I have some vision. My impression is that the screen is bright and very colorful. The controls are so simple and intuitive, it is almost uncanny how easy this device is to operate. No special software is required to download files to it. When connected to a PC, the SONY NWZ S618 simply appears as a "PC drive". One simply drags and drops folders and files to it. The SONY NWZ S618 also has an FM tuner. I love this feature! The new NWZ A*** series does not have an FM tuner. The FM tuner on this baby sounds awesome! As a curiosity though, I noticed that the equalizer in the SONY NWZ S618 does not work in the FM tuner mode. This should not impact your decision to buy this OUTSTANDING media player, because the sound produced in the FM mode is rich, clear, and satisfying. I cannot say enough good things about this truly phenomenal SONY product! I recommend buying an optional leather carrying case, which I got on eBay by searching "NWZ S618 CASE". It is worth the investment to keep your SONY NWZ S618 in tip-top condition. The SONY NWZ S618 really delivers the goods. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
