♥♥♥♥♥ Good Sound***Average Quality
I have just gone through my 3rd set of G42LP Headphones. I wear them about 4x a week. I wear glasses, and a hat when I walk. The rubber ear piece that goes behind your ears keeps them in place. Sometimes they are a bit uncomfortable after an hour, but generally are fine. The problem Sony has is that the rubber ear clip separates from the frame that goes around your head after several months. Re-seating the clip on the frame has not been successful. Tried several types of glue but the clip just separates. Happened on all three headphones over the years. I was reluctant to try a different style without the rubber ear clips. I didn't want anything that just pinched your head with more pressure. I have recently changed to the Sony MDR-G54LP. They do not have a rubber ear clips, but the design keeps the headphones on your ears. They do not pinch your head. They are also more comfortable after an hour of use, and the sound quality appears equal or better than the G42LP. The G54LP looks a little unusual, but they have been a better choice for me.
