| This tape dwells too tooo too much in the 19th century. The clips of modern gurkha family life and rituals are frustratingly poor in viusal quality and short. Still, it's quite informative as a source of history. I wish there were more and better footages of gurkha family camps, festivals and villages. My father was in the British Army for 33 yrs and I grew up in Hongkong where about 6000 gurkha soldiers and their families were stationed before the Chinese takeover of the then colony. Well, I have seen better. Zico Rai, USA. |
