The Essence of Hunting!

| I found Randall L. Eaton's video on the sacred nature of hunting a "must see" for any hunting or nature enthusiast. At last, an arguement for hunting which goes beyond the usual consumption or management rhetoric. If hunting is to survive in an increasingly urbanized and "technologized society", we must be able to come to grips with the very real and substantive reasons for our passion to hunt. Eaton's "Sacred Hunt" provides not only a host of such reasons, but challenges the prevailing assumption that hunting is but a vestige of the past, a tradition to be grudgingly respected like grandpa's tedious stories of yesteryear. Eaton makes a compelling arguement that the wisdom imparted from hunting can in fact fascilitate humankind's evolution toward a more environmentally conscious, spiritually whole, and peaceful place in the natural world, our real home. If you ever wondered why hunters endure the early hours, cold weather, or lack of success, this video should provide the answers.
