Rescued from the VHS Wasteland

The rescuers are top-secret agent mice Miss Bianca (voiced by Eva Gabor) and Bernard (voiced by Bob Newhart) who are called into action when orphaned Penny (voiced by Michelle Stacy) falls into the clutches of the treacherous treasure hunter Madame Medusa (voiced by Geraldine Page) and her henchman, Mr. Snoops (voiced by Joe Flynn). The baddies plan to use the little girl as a diversion when they steal the world's most valuable diamond, The Devil's Eye. But the minuscule mice have big plans to rescue Penny before that can happen.
This was always one of my favorite movies as a kid, so it's great that's it is available on DVD finally - it'll teach a whole new generation of young ones that mice speak with Hungarian accents! |
