You're probably wondering...

...whether or not this tape includes the entire game, right? Well, I'm sorry to break the news to ya, but it doesn't. It's simply a half-hour-long NFL Films highlights show of the twenty-third Super Bowl featuring the amazing Joe Montana leading the San Francisco 49ers to a thrilling 20-16 finish over the Cincinnati Bengals. Game highlights include a few amazing catches by game MVP Jerry Rice, Bengals KR Stanford Jennings going the distance to keep his team in the running, and the game-winning drive that made Joe Montana an NFL legend. Being a Niner fan, this particular presentation is one of my fave Super Bowl highlight shows, and features some of the best background music I've ever heard. I only wish NFL Films would put a few of these tracks out on some commercial recording. On CD, LP, 8-track, it don't matter...
You can usually catch this playing on ESPN the week before the Super Bowl, along with the other XXXVII (as of this writing) half-hour highlight reels. Or you can get it on DVD along with the highlight shows of games XXI, XXII and XXIV to XXX complete with season recaps at:
