Uplifting and Thought Provoking

| I love this film! It came out at a time in my life when I needed hope, and it really lifted my spirits. The premise is interesting, the humor is right on, and the soundtrack is amazing! (Mark Isham, who wrote the soundtrack, is still one of my favorite composers.) An interesting side note is that I met my husband a few weeks after seeing this film, and we used "I Remember You" by Ric Ocasek as the music for our first dance at the wedding. I have the soundtrack on vinyl and cassette tape, and I have the movie on dvd (got it from my tivo/dvd recorder). I never get tired of it, and I am not a person who normally likes to watch the same movies several times. This one is an exception. It's just a heck of a lot of fun. Ahhhhhh, sigh! If you have a romantic and slightly mystical nature, be sure to see this movie! You'll love it! |
