The exercises very aptly address rider-specific needs for flexibility and strength and are extremely complementary to work undertaken on the longe for development of an independent seat. By adapting the program a bit by performing the upper body exercises on a straight back chair, I found I was able to augment my sensitivity to equal weighting of the seat bones.
