Life is never the same after serving your counrty!

This video is a must see, and I am happy that they produced this movie. I strongly urge that you watch it after viewing the series 3 and before viewing the series 4 videos as it fills in the my gaps of curosity of James Herriots' life in between these series.
The movie shows and points out He was most affected after joining up in the RAF during WW2 and how the local farmers treated him when he came back. Things have changed and he has to come to terms with fact that Life is never the same after you have been away so long from a place you loved and remembered!!
(It is also the lovely Carol Drinkwater's last perfomrance with this cast as she is replaced respectfully with the wonderful Lynda Bellingham during series 4). |
