| A story that has particular relevence to real people in the real world makes it's leading man such a fake action hero and expects his attitude to not detract from the realism of the situations and even expects you to like him. Whatever romance is supposed to be seen in the mutual martyrdom of the couple is hard to find given the two do not appear to have made each other happy even for a second of the film's duration and even when the dude makes his declaration of love speech he expresses no warmth. It also seems like the kind of movie that's gone through so many rewrites and re-edits than even the people working on it have no idea what it's supposed to be anymore. |
