Some time ago
|
I can remember preparing to watch this movie for the second or third time. It was late and my family was sound asleep. I placed the reclining sofa directly in front of the TV and ran my high quality headphones from the receiver to the sofa. I pushed play then puase and went out to smoke a propper amount of chronic. Technical difficulties were minimized and all I had to do was sneak back into the house and watch with pure delight the best romantic movie that I have ever seen.
That was a long time ago and I wonder what it would be like to watch it again. This movie can in one way be called a romance movie or love story but I think it is more so a reflection on the transience of life and existential dread and loss. |
