Ummm... I found out after watching this.. just how good of a guitarist George was

After seeing this for the first time..
having never heard the concert.. having read quite a bit about it..
I came away realizing that George really knew how
to rock back in the day.. but here's the best part..
you know how the Beatles are sometimes knocked for being poppy
thanks to Paul... well friends, this is stripped down rootsy
music from the Beatles lead guitarist George Harrison and he
is in total command.. wow... it's as if you're seeing the Beatles
rocking out... (and George can actually play a little guitar unlike
Paul!) (Hey, I love Paul.. but let's face it... he can't touch
George on the guitar.)
George is just rocking out on guitar.. wow... I mean.. I know
this isn't the only best part of the concert but if you've
got some Beatle Haters... show them this!!!!
This concert is simply one of the finest demonstrations of musicians
coming together to help a cause.. with Dylan, Billy Preston, Badfinger,
Clapton.... come on... if you don't have this.. if you're a classic rock
fan.. I can't imagine it won't touch you.. it has certainly touched me. |
