Bad audio mastering ruins the show
|
I had earlier seen this concert on DVD with DTS mastering. The current disc unfortunately uses Dolby Digital for its audio and what a disappointment it is.
In fact, part 2 of the disc appears definitely flawed with the sound appearing to come from the rear and front left channels, making one wonder if Yanni and the stage is on one's left.
Concert otherwise is quite regaling, if one were to consider the music solely. |
