More typical third season eps. in terms of writing/logic
|
| Watching the third season episodes, you have to wonder if the third season writers ever watched any first or second season episodes. "The Lights of Zetar" and "The Cloud Minders" are more third season examples of ludicrous writing and characters acting out-of-character. The example of all this that stood out the most with me, is in "Zetar." Spock said that because the Zetarians burned out the memory core of the Memory Alpha planetoid, all scientific and cultural knowledge of all planetary Federation members is lost forever. They're telling us that in the entire galaxy, this little planetoid is the only place the Federation had this information stored? Beyond ridiculous. |
