Could have been much better...

| With all the movies in their catalogue one has to wonder why Mill Creek couldn't have compiled a better sci-fi collection than this. Several titles do not make the grade as 'sci-fi', especially the Italian sword and sandal Hercules fantasies. Looking at the 'Nightmare Worlds' collection the opportunity existed to put together a pretty good set of genuine sci-fi flicks ranging from the silent era up to the 1960s when things began to change. Early "so bad it's good" B-grade sci-fi can be loads of fun. Unfortunately, a lot of what is here is just plain bad. At this price still worth having, but could have been much better. |
