This movie came as a result of the complaints Evangelion fans had about the end of the TV series, so the new movie was a form of revenge. If the end of the TV series was from the viewpoint within Shinji's mind (entirely), this movie is of the same events....but through a third person viewpoint with a bit of a twist at the end. The ending leaves open a wide range of options in plot (for which many fanfiction writers have taken advantage of.) This is a must for any Eva eatcher or collector, but be prepared for a Shakespearian Tragedy.   1     2     3   Non User
