we LOVE this series!

I started watching anime in my 20s, mostly things my (male) friends watched like "Bubblegum Crisis/ Bubblegum Crash", "A.D. Police", and anything "Lupin". My husband recently bought the "Witch Hunter Robin" which we both really enjoyed. He also got "Last Exile" but I didn't care for that as much.
The types of anime series I really liked were about romance/love & relationships, and it helped if there was also some humor. Things like "Urusay Yatsura", or "Kimagure Orange Road" were my fav's. Now I love watching mostly any of the "Hayao Miyazaki" works with my teen-age daughter, and we both adore "Love Hina" (we also watched a little "Fruits Basket" together, but it was a bit dark as it went along) My daughter started as a youngster watching "Sailor Moon" and "Pokemon" and still likes them, but she loves things like "Love Hina" now. This 2nd DVD in the series helps move the plot along. (altho' we did cheat a little and have also watched the Love Hina Xmas DVD as well as "Love Hina Again" - and we are going to buy the Spring & Summertime movies as well. Love Hina is just a lot of fun. |
