A documentary about the legendary Porn star of the 70's and 80's who acted in nearly a 1600 movies. He says he's slept with 3200 odd women on a professional basis and on a private life and social basis with 500 to 600 women. The movie follows his life when goes to parties, travels between shoots and visits his dad. There is interviews by his sister, dad, his professional friends and private life friends. The "Hedgehog" (because of his short, fat and hairy characteristic) is portrayed as an ambitious, attention seeking person who likes to be the center of attraction and is prepared to work for it. He comes out as millionare miser. He has no girlfriends and personal life, and is portrayed as lonely figure despite of all the parties he goes to and the attention he gets. We are shown him signing autographs for women fans on their body parts (you can guess where). Ron has this desire to be in mainstream movies and has got bit parts as extras (most of which he gets killed in) but he is proud of those. He has a masters degree. He started out trying for mainstream movies but found his way to porn. He is possibly one of the few stars who doesn't take any stimulants to sustain 4 hr erections and is reported to be able to come on a count (on demand at a director's wish). The average male identifies with him as he is so out of shape and yet manages to get lucky. Movie also shows him on his routine visit for the monthly aids test. But I still did not get the main things I wanted to hear from the head of a porn star. Whats the personal life like in the porn world ? We hear about marriages between porn stars, how can they think of keeping it intact when they are committed to compulsary infedility by the trade of their profession ? How would he as porn star feel when he has a child? Would he shield his kids from porn ? How would he feel the day they confronted him with his screen image or perhaps got a copy of his movies ? Many questions were unanswered. But yet this is a kind of short piece on a porn star which just lets us understand the stardom and fame that a porn star gets and at the same time the lonliness that comes with it.
