Lassie's Great Adventure Customer Reviews   1     2   ♥♥♥♥♥ Good Movie, Bad Transfer This was taken from a five-part LASSIE TV story, the only Timmy episodes made in color, so occasionally the story is choppy, but in general this is an interesting adventure story about Timmy and Lassie surviving in the Canadian wilderness after being swept away in a runaway carnival balloon. I would give it a better rating but the copy they used to transfer this to DVD is HIDEOUS. Lots of blips, white spots, color washouts, and one part where you can actually see the film stall and sputter and then restart again. Evidently this was just a quicky transfer to DVD and nothing else. Pity, because it's an enjoyable story. Still recommended for Lassie fans.   1     2   Non User
