One mustn't overlook the incontrovertible reality that Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, unattached from their condign commendations, underutilized "minor" characters, relegating them to one-liners, like personal sentimental faves Crimson Avenger and Blue Devil, or to the umbral periphery, ironically like Dr. Mid-Nite and Obsidian. Complaints of akin animadversion towards "The New Frontier" should be qualified. We all read and enjoyed the book; the movie cannot POSSIBLY be superior nor can it be equitably and equanimously evaluated from the same bibliophile. Our imaginations are our best movie screens, folks. I was glad for having watched this movie but I kept my expectations at a moderate level. Ultimately, we all love these super heroes.
