Basic info & plenty of analogies to fill a 20 page book or decent website

This DVD is done entirely by Ian Welch, a Reiki Master of 3 years. This contails: What is Energy, What is Reiki Energy, The History of Reiki, How people heal with Reiki Energies, What to expect when getting Reiki, How to become a Reiki healer & what goes on when getting a Reiki attunement. some bonuses are 3 Reiki stories of healing, Reiki Aura photography & featured music from the dvd.
This is a 60 min slow lecture. There is some acting such as Ian playing the role of the father of Reiki Dr. Usui. This felt very drawn out & a bit dumbed down. He used several analogies for every point & sometimes even repeated himself. Since there are very few DVDs on the subject, this was decent, but could have been easily summed up in 30 min. You're better off looking on the web, getting a book or even a pamphlet. There isn't much to see in terms of visuals to make a DVD worth it instead of a book. Check your local library, they may even have it or other dvds you'd be interested in. |
