| I found the dvd a while back and have watched it several times since. I have to admit I actually bought it because of Gerard Butler as I have all of this spectacular actors movies, but after watching the movie for about twenty minutes I forgot about Gerard and got in the game. By the time they played against England I was on the edge of my seat. My grandson is a very good soccer player and loves the game. He's 12 years old and thoroughly enjoyed this movie. So can somebody please tell me what to heck is wrong with the US film industry these days? When I see some of the junk they're putting out for great movies today it makes me glad that some very ingenius person came up with the DVD player so that I can watch real movies. Not only are the movies junk but where are the sophisticated critics that at one time knew how to really critique a decent movie. I know that this is a pretty long review but I read all the others and so far everyone seems to agree with me on this matter and I just had to make sure I didn't leave anything out. |
