Where's the ' surround sound '?

I originally purchased this item in May 2004.
I gave the disc oly 3 stars because of its Monophonic soundtrack!It had been advertised as 5.1, NOT 1.0 !!
Video was OK but not spectacular.
Caveat Emptor !!!
