♥♥♥♥♥ Left with a feeling of nostalgia...
I had just purchased this DVD with the "Dragon Ball Movie 3-pack" which includes movies 2, 3, and 4. All re-tellings of the Dragon Ball sagas. And I have to say, I was most impressed with this one, The Path To Power.

Video/Picture: Beautifal, loving the GT-style artwork. It actually works better then GT! Plus, there were many small things that hard-core fans might notice from the manga, like the change in Bulma's hair color from blue to purple (it was originally purple in the manga!). Subtle things like that really made me enjoy this movie's visual quality more. Sure, there are a few scratches and things every once in awile, but nothing to get worked up about. 5/5.

Audio: Now, I haven't listened to it in japanese, but the english track is very high-quality. The dub is spot-on, and the funimation voices are always great to hear. I also noticed alot of small sound effects and updated ones that made the movie seem more like a full-length movie instead of the typical DB movie. All in all, 5/5. (for the english dub)

Action and plot I wont get in to, because come on, it's dragonball. Action is what you expect, and this movie is full of it. Old-school nostalgic DB action at its best. Overall, this is probably my favorite movie in the whole DB/DBZ collection. Watching DB in this updated form brings me back to when it wasn't all "stare downs, and 5 episode ki-charges." Great movie, I recommend buying it ASAP!
