| For the money you CAN'T go wrong with this set. My interest in seeing some of Chaplin's original work came after finally seeing the film "Chaplin" based on his life starring Robert Downey Jr. What an amazing man and an extraordinary life! This collection of films is very good quality, though not perfect to be sure. The music can be a bit repetitive at times as it is not what originally played during the showing of these pictures, but all-in-all it is a fantastic set for someone like myself who, although I knew who Carlie Chaplin was, had never seen even ONE of his films before. You will truly enjoy this set if you are seeking a large quantity of Chaplin films in one set at a very reasonable price and I see it as a starter set to springboard from if you feel the desire to begin building a Chaplin film collection. |
