A lot of politics and some romance.
|
The American President is a lot or politics with some romance thrown in for good measure. Somehow it works. President Andrew Shepard and Sydney Ellen Wade, lobbyist, manage to light a spark in each other while overcoming turmoil in the political arena. Does it work? All I can say it that the President manages to walk away with a heart.
It's amazing really. I never think about the personal life of our President. I'm not sure exactly what I thought he did outside of the oval office (except fiddle around at his ranch a lot, but that's another story.) I guess this movie just puts things in to perspective. It made me realize there is a man behind the President.
And, It's really weird watching the political take on things before 9/11. So many things have changed. |
