Several years ago, I "did Atkins" down 90 lbs. It works! Unfortunately, I back-slid my way back up and am starting over. (Down 50 lbs in 5 months) In the interim, the revered Dr. himself has passed on (having not had a donut in over 40 years) and the Atkins crew have come up with the Devine Concept of NET carbs. In other words, you can eat a whole lot more variety than I could in my first Go Down. But this DVD just gives the viewer the Basics, with no hint about NET carbs or other really useful information that will make this Way of Eating happier and easier to stay with. The newly released DVD features the deceased Dr in a personal, conversational mode with the viewer. I don't know how they did this. Possibly it was taken from in-Center Training Tapes? Whatever.
